Rez Infinite Getting Physical Release And Some Sick Collectables

Rez Infinite Gets A Bundle of Limited Run Swag Before Release

While the re-release of Rez Infinite is still a ways away, iam8bit has given us some pretty legit stuff to get excited for the enhanced port of the cult favourite. Rez Infinite is set to launch digitally on October 13th, but for those superfans, they can get their hands on a vinyl soundtrack, book bundle, t-shirts, and a special physical release. A pretty slick way to commemorate the re-release of such a dearly loved title.

Rez Infinite

The physical edition of Rez Infinite will be region free, and goes for a modest $39.99. While it’s set to launch on October 13th, iam8bit confirmed they will attempt to ship these copies during the week of launch in time for a day 1 arrival. This goes for the other items as well, but fortunately, if you order the Vinyl Soundtrack, you won’t be left completely in the dark until the item comes into your mailbox. Those who opt to order the slick looking vinyl records will receive a digital copy of the soundtrack for safe-keeping, so your ears can start devouring this game’s amazing music as soon as possible, including music from the new location known as Area X. There’s a variant version of these vinyl records that will ship later, but if you want something truly special, and are the patient type, you may want to throw your money at the screen later rather than sooner.

As seen above, the variant edition is going to be a hot commodity, and will be a copy of one of 1,000, making it a fantastic collectible. You can also get your hands on a 48-page book that was tailored by Nick Hurwitch, which will be bundled with the album. Fans can find interviews with the original Rez team, as well as with famed composer Tetsuya Mizuguchi, the major force behind the game’s unique soundtrack. If you’re not chomping at the bit already, you can view more of the collection right here, where you can see how each item will look, as well as place your orders, if you’re dead-set on purchasing any of these special items.
