PS4 Slim Manual Suggests a 1TB Version
A couple of days ago we reported how images of a new, slim PS4 leaked online. That post created quite the buzz. Since then there have been multiple reports of PS4 slim consoles all over the place. Some reports claimed that there is only a 500 GB model with a sporting product code CUH-2016A. But according to Twitter user shortman82, who purchased one of the consoles, that’s not the only available model.
The console manual, in fact, reveals a CUH-2016B console with a 1TB hard disk drive built in (it’s worth keeping in mind that the “16” is simply the region identifier, and in this indicates a console sold in the UK). Here is shortman82 tweet:
Having read the manual it seems there is a 500gb and a 1tb model slim. CUH-2016A/CUH-2016B.

Additionally, shortman82 also mentioned that he did not find any reference to 4K resolution anywhere in the console’s operating system or box, probably indicating that the console will still have a maximum output resolution at 1080p.
Interesting info to say the least. Will you buy one? Tell us in the comments below.
