Leaked Final Fantasy XV Images Show Map, Photo Mode, Swag and More

Images Emerge From Final Fantasy XV Event in Nagoya

Final Fantasy XV is finally releasing this September, and last month we posted some images of the games box art. Yesterday, Square Enix hosted a Final Fantasy XV fan event in Nagoya, Japan. This event allowed a small group of gamers to meet the developers, try out the game and check out the related art. The gamers received swag and had the opportunity to really dive into the game. As a result, some images from the game may have been inadvertently leaked from the event.

The images show some of Final Fantasy XV gameplay and new artwork. There is even a picture of the games map. That specific picture (see below) also hides another interesting detail, which is the games photo feature. The text in the menu says “Prompto takes pictures along the way when you stop to rest, you can save your favorite photos.” Check out the image here:

As seen above, you can press square to “save photo,” or circle (that will change to X in the west) to confirm. On the top right you can see the number of pictures saved (which at the moment is 0/100), and “Prompto’s photo level.” For those of you looking forward to the game it is interesting to see how the feature will work in the final game.

Another image (seen below) you see a dish named Merias Stew, which is defined as a “stew with plenty of vegetables” and grants Attack Power Level 2 (+20 attack power) and HP Up Level 3 (Maximum HP +150). Take a look at the image here:

We have some more images from the event which you can see below. These pics are compliments of our friends over at Dualshockers.
