ABZÛ is a beautiful underwater experience that evokes the dream of diving. You will be immersed in a vibrant ocean world full of mystery and bursting with color and life. Playing as the Diver, you’ll discover hundreds of unique species based on real sea creatures and form a powerful connection with the ocean. Descend into the heart of the sea on a quest to unravel the mysteries of this world, but beware, dangers lurk in the depths.
Developed by Giant Squid Studios – led by Matt Nava, the art director of Journey and Flower – the game takes a unique and artistic approach to delivering a powerful emotional narrative, without the use of any dialogue. The name derives from ancient Sumerian language; AB, meaning water, and ZÛ, meaning to know. ABZÛ is the ocean of wisdom.
