Peter Moore: EA’s Games Will be Delayed Because of Pokemon GO

Pokemon GO Hitting EA Hard Says Peter Moore

A few days ago the COO of EA Sports, Peter Moore took to Twitter to have a little fun on Nintendo America’s and Pokemon GO’s behalf. He was quick to lay blame on the pop culture gaming phenomenon for causing delays to all of EA’s upcoming games. The reason? Everyone is playing Pokemon GO and no one is working!

With upwards of 15 million downloads already, and over 20% of all adults in North America claiming they’ve downloaded it, it’s no surprise that despite Peter Moore having a laugh about it, this is likely happening at job places everywhere. Heck, just knowing that for a short time that Pokemon GO had stolen the reigns of popularity from porn (pretty sure porn is back on top) tells you how insanely popular the mobile augmented reality game is. How long it reigns supreme is uncertain but it’s safe to say that Nintendo has hit the jackpot with their pocket monsters.
