Netmarble’s Seven Knights Releases BlazBlue-Inspired Update

Netmarble Games Corp., the fastest-growing mobile game company in Asia, today announced that its turn-based RPG, Seven Knights,  released a huge update for the “Seven Knights Month” in July. One of the major updates is a special collaboration with BlazBlue, a 2D fighter game series boasting global popularity with 1.7 million downloads.

Three characters motivated by BlazBlue including Tsubaki Yayoi, Noel Vermillion and Ragna the Bloodedge, will make their debut in  Seven Knights starting today. The characters will look and feel like the original, as the action and design were highlighted in bringing them to  Seven Knights. Additionally, Netmarble announced various player events for July, the official “Seven Knights Month,” rewarding players with daily login and check in prizes.

The “7th Month 7 Knights Log-in Event” will last until the end of July and reward players who login daily with a 6 Star Hero Selector, 6-Star Seven Knights Item Selector, 6-Star Accessories Selector, Elements, Gold and more. The “7 Day Check-in Event” allows players to check-in on the 7 day Check-in icon in the lobby screen. Players will benefit from items like a 4-Star Seven Knights Hero Selector or a 4-Star Four Lords Selector. This event marks the first time the 4-Star Four Lords Selector has been offered as a reward.

“We felt BlazBlue’s unique skill actions and visuals would be a great fit for  Seven Knights,” said Seungwon Lee, Chief Marketing Officer, Netmarble Games. “We paid special focus to the unique characteristics of Tsubaki, Noel, and Ragna, so as not to lose the originality of the character design and action. We are very happy with the results and believe our players will enjoy the character collaboration and special events that celebrate the month of  Seven Knights.”

Additional details on the BlazBlue update to Seven Knights, include three BlazBlue Inspired Characters:

  • Tsubaki Yayoi is a major of the non-official Novus Orbis Librarium’s Zero Squadron. She brings her magic skill set to the game and uses sealed weapon Izayoi, which is kept under a special lock that can only be opened from the blood of a person from the Yayoi Family. It includes a sword, a shield and a hat.
  • Noel Vermillion, a main heroine in the BazBlue series and a former lieutenant of the Novus Orbis Librarium uses Bolverk, a pair of handguns, which can attack targets through walls. Noel is a magic-type character, and her skill set is designed to fight with poly enemies. Without support from an ally, she can raise her power to attack enemies, and also can neutralize the enemies’ attack.
  • Ragna the Bloodedge, a wanted criminal who attempted to destroy the Novus Orbis librarium, is a universal type character that can give a strong buff to allies to defeat the enemy, and can fight for a long period. He is good at counterattack and all of his skills are designed to continuous fighting.

Seven Knights is available 146 countries and features turn-based battles and an extraordinary cast of characters. Struggling for supremacy in a total of eight domains, the  Seven Knights players can enjoy dynamic adventures and diverse dungeons, as well as intense siege warfare among the guilds.
