Developers of Life is Strange Debut New Studio and Multiplayer Shooter
Life is Strange was one of the best surprises of 2015 earning multiple nominations for many different awards once the year wrapped up. The developer, Dontnod, made a name for themselves with that game and have since moved on to working on the promising looking RPG, Vampyr. It’s busy times for the studio. So busy in fact, that they’ve decided to open a second studio, Dontnod Eleven alongside debuting the new studio’s game, BATTLECREW Space Pirates.
Formerly known as Hesaw, an indie studio out of Paris, Dontnod Eleven was born out of a collaboration and merger with the original Dontnod. You can tell by the trailer above that BATTLECREW Space Pirates has some solid dev time under its belt already (around a year actually) and it aiming to hit Steam Early Access very soon.
BATTLECREW Space Pirates is a competitive multiplayer shooter, with a high-paced gameplay, both accessible and deep. The game takes place in an original and iconic Space Pirates universe, where players control charismatic heroes that cooperate or compete for the most precious treasures of the galaxy. BATTLECREW Space Pirates includes innovative in-game community features, events and challenges.
