The new Xbox One Slim was to be revealed at E3 had screenshots leaked early today, posted on NeoGAF. With the reduced size (40% smaller than the original) it comes with some beefy tech including a 2TB hard drive and 4K compatibility.
There have been rumors surrounding Microsoft releasing two new Xbox One models over the next couple years, one being the cheaper version with the 2TB hard drive and another code named ‘Scorpio’ which has better GPU that will be out in 2017.
There are sources that say Microsoft has been trying to foster a deal with Occulus, this would allow the Occulus Rift to be supported on the Scorpio version, but no deal has been made yet, nor have they commented on it.
We’ll find out more details tomorrow when Microsoft does their conference at E3 and COGconnected will be there to bring you more coverage.
