E3 2016: The Division ‘Underground’ DLC Announced

Take The Fight Underground On June 28

Microsoft had their briefing today and showcased the first paid DLC for The Division called ‘Underground’. Prepare to travel below the streets and face off against terrorism in randomly created missions and underground dungeons.

Underground will release on Xbox One first to coincide with an agreement between Microsoft and Ubisoft, the PS4 and PC version will come later. It will be the first of three paid DLCs coming which the others are called Survival and Last Stand, although, there’s no solid word on when these will be available. Survival makes the resources scarce and tests whether you’ll remain civil or go rogue in the DZ, Last Stand focuses on a horde type mode where you defend an area against waves of enemies.

While the information is still vague for the future DLC, it’s nice to see Ubisoft show their plans for what’s to come. So far, we’ve seen some unpaid DLC including Incursions which brings end-game content requiring squad based gameplay.
