Wacky “Dad Quest” Begins Steam Greenlight Campaign

Just in Time for Father’s Day, Dad Quest seeks Greenlight on Steam

With the platformer game Dad Quest, the publisher Excalibur Games has a truly unique game mechanic that brings a new meaning to parenting. The highly anticipated game is from indie developers Sundae Month – Excalibur’s latest signing. They expect that the with the considerable interest in Dad Quest that the Greenlight process will be over in a couple of weeks. The game will then progress smoothly into the Early Access programme in late September.

The storyline of this action-adventure platformer (with some RPG elements) follows the objective of raising your child whilst on a journey to the legendary Dad Island. The process of child-rearing in Dad Quest uses your child as an effective weapon. When being tossed through the air, your child can defeat enemy “Bad Dads” and collect treasures along the way to improve their development.

The combat system of throwing the child through the air marks the game mechanic in Dad Quest as unique. The more the child is airborne the happier he is! This combat system is under constant development and we encourage you to keep posted to the webpage where you can see further updates.
