Xbox One Price Officially Set to $299
Rumors and speculation have been rampant that Microsoft is set to reveal an updated Xbox One Slim at E3 this year, and are currently at work on a 4X as powerful Xbox One, codenamed ‘Xbox Scorpio’ set to release in 2017. Adding fuel to the fire would be the just announced drop for the Xbox One price that brings it to a measly $299. This price adjustment may very well be the final indicator we need to say that the reveal is a certainty.
Originally released with the Kinect in tow for $499 this sees the Xbox One console at a solid $200 less, and with a $50 jump on its competiton, the PlayStation4 which still sits at $349. There hasn’t been a lot of fanfare regarding the price drop yet but it has been revealed on Xbox.com.
