Get ready to make lift off during this year’s PAX East as Daedalic Entertainment and Forgotten Key bring a hands on demo for their brand new atmospheric adventure game AER. Fans and press will be able to experience gameplay footage and AER will be shown live at PAX East for anyone who is interested in flying around and traversing the colorful remnants of AER’s world. AER is developed by Indie game studio Forgottn Key in Karlshamn, Sweden and will be published by Daedalic Entertainment in September 2016 for te Play Station 4, Xbox One, PC, Mac and Linux.
Take on an exploration among the skies as players follow the story of Auk, a girl who can transform into a bird on a journey through the Land of Gods. As Auk, the player will visit nomads and spirit animals and venture down into ruins from a lost ancient civilization. The gods of old are forgotten, lost in the events that shattered the world, leaving only fragments of islands in the sky. On a journey, the player will encounter situations that have not been experienced in generations and every step leads closer towards the end of the world.
AER is developed with a focus on strong aesthetics and free exploration gameplay which will allow the player to complete objectives and progress in the order they so choose. With a vibrant low poly art style, get ready to set out on a pilgrimage exploring the skies and temples while solving puzzles and the mysteries of it’s world.
