A recent windstorm in Seattle, Washington has claimed the life of one of the key figures behind the Pokémon franchise. Pokémon Creative Design Director, Eric Medalle, 42, was driving with his young daughter when wind knocked an evergreen tree onto his car, crushing him. His daughter was fortunately not seriously injured.
Medalle had been with the Pokémon franchise since 2003, working on such titles as Pokémon X, Pokémon Y, Pokémon Black, and Pokémon White.
