Check Out DOOM’s Nine Multiplayer Maps in This New Trailer

In a Blog post and new Trailer released today, Bethesda has showcased nine new multiplayer maps for its upcoming title DOOM. The trailer shows what players can expect when the game launches this May, as environments range from inside some sort of space station to a Hellish environment complete with the skulls, fire and brimstone we would expect.

Here are Bethesda’s own words describing the multiplayer levels shown in the trailer:

“From the blood-soaked UAC facilities on Mars to the fiery depths of Hell, DOOM multiplayer will take you on a tour of 9 deviously diverse locations. While each multiplayer map is distinct, they all share a few traits in common. For starters, you’ll need to stay in constant motion to stay alive; every map is constructed to keep the action brutally fast-paced. These multi-tiered combat arenas are littered with hazards, and packed with items that can turn the tide of combat at a moment’s notice. And while they all have secrets for you to uncover, none of them are built to allow for easy sniping or hiding points.”

One other common aspect to all the nine levels shown in the trailer: they all exhibit breathtaking visuals that promise to make DOOM a wild and awesome killfest this May. We have been excited about this tite since E3 2015, and now the wait until launch just got a better more excruciating. If you want to see more of Doom’s multiplayer action, check out another trailer we just posted last week.

DOOM comes out on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on May 13th. If you pre-order the Xbox One version, you’ll be eligible for a digital copy of Doom and Doom 2. Sweet!
