In “Terminus,” the fifth and final episode of the thrilling République saga, Hope’s story of escape becomes one of revenge, as she and the player learn that freedom can’t be won by running away.
Exclusive to the PS4 edition releasing today is a new control scheme allowing players to take full control of Hope, the game’s protagonist. She is a prisoner of Metamorphosis, a shadowy totalitarian state ruled by the omnipresent Overseer. Players take on the role of an anonymous benefactor who guides Hope to freedom by hacking into the Overseer’s elaborate surveillance network. But as the game progresses, more is revealed about the sinister global ambitions of the top secret facility, which holds her captive.
“Terminus” is available with the full season on Steam for $24.99 or as an individual episode on mobile devices for $4.99 on both the App Store and Google Play. Players who purchased the full season will receive “Episode 5: Terminus” today.
PS4 players can purchase the retail version of the entire five-episode game for $24.99/CA$39.99 from participating retailers throughout North America through a distribution partnership with ATLUS. The game is also available digitally on the PlayStation Store for the same price.
NIS America is distributing a limited “Contraband Edition” for $44.99 on its online store. Available in limited quantities, the “Contraband Edition” includes physical République-themed products, such as the soundtrack and The Manifesto, a 160-page collector’s edition book that describes life inside Metamorphosis.
