ReCore, the action-adventure directed by famed Japanese designer Keiji Inafune, will now ship on Xbox One and PC in 2016 according to a new blog post on the Xbox Wire.
Microsoft initially revealed the project as an Xbox One exclusive at E3 2015, but Xbox boss Phil Spencer said that he wants to give players more choice regarding what platform to play games on, be it console or desktop.
ReCore, which will be published by Microsoft Studios, is being developed in collaboration between Inafune’s studio Comcept and Texas outfit Armature.
Joseph Staten, the co-creator of the Halo and Destiny universes, has been confirmed as the project’s lead writer.
