Indie game studio Perfect Square Studios has announced that “Goodnight Butcher” will be available on Steam starting Friday, December 18th. We are told that Goodnight Butcher is an Arcade style Horror Survival game, created by two Indie game devs in their free time over the course of about 6 months. They now want to “share our passion with the world.” Yes, apparently their passion is telling stories about night-shift meat-processing employees. What’s your point?
In Goodnight Butcher, you’re … well, a butcher, working the night shift at a run-down meatshop, but you’re not alone. You must use machines found throughout the butchery to saw, chop, grind, mince, and otherwise prepare meat for tomorrow’s customers, while avoiding the terrifying apparitions which haunt the old building, or perhaps your own mind. And no, quitting your job is not an option – we checked. You apparently really, really need the money. Ok, smart guy? Just go with it!
