Toronto’s EGLX Gaming Expo to Feature Over 25 Game Tournaments

The Enthusiast Gaming Live Expo (EGLX) coming up in Toronto from November 13 to 15, will feature over 25 gaming tournaments.  The competitive gaming titles are some of the most popular around, and in addition, the expo will have over 60 gaming celebrities, many of them world-ranked competitive gamers.

Headlining the tournaments will be the Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, which will have a combined Pot Bonus of $33,000 – $15,000 each for Melee Singles and Wii U Singles, with $1,500 for each game’s Doubles side event. And that’s not even counting the entry prize pool.

Organizers have also revealed William “Leffen” Hjelte as the first pro Smash player to be announced at EGLX. He’s the only Melee “god” to have never been to a Canadian tournament, until now. His overwhelming, assassin-style Fox is a sight to behold.
