This year’s gamescom show, which drew a record attendance of over 345,000 visitors, saw lots of amazing moments, in which we got to see a lot of the top games in development strut their stuff on stage.
But no game impressed visitors more than Star Wars: Battlefront. It took the Best of Gamescom award, the top award of the show. It also won the Audience award and 3 other awards at Europe’s biggest gaming show.
Electronic Arts was additionally at the top of the list of the public’s favourites, securing the much-coveted Most Wanted Consumer Award with Star Wars: Battlefront. This award is considered a good indication of how well a game might sell upon release.
