Microsoft Going Full Throttle For This Year’s E3

They’re “Not Holding Anything Back,” You Guys

In a move best described as ‘information adjacent,’ Aaron Greenberg spoke out on Twitter about Microsoft’s upcoming E3 showing. While he had nothing in the way of concrete information for us to chew on, he did mention that the team will “not be holding anything back” at this year’s E3. Great news, I think?

I get that we’re all so starving fro new details that we’ll messily devour anything thrown our way, no matter how lacking in meat in may be. Indeed, such is our E3 hype that we’ll more or less chew up any old tidbit we’re offered. But c’mon, man. There isn’t anything else you can offer, a scant two weeks before the big show?

Previously, fleshier bits of news have revealed that Microsoft’s upcoming E3 presser is going to be a full two hours long. This is amazing news, yet one is left to wonder whether that will include any filler material. I’m a sucker for hot reveals as much as the next intrepid journalist, but I’m ready to skip the extended speeches about the Xbox One and its many incredible achievements if it means more time for new games, release dates and sexy trailer footage. Hopefully, this little tidbit about not holding back even a single thing means that two hours is going to be loaded with only the most tender morsels of delectable news.
