Following the successful testing of Fortnite on iOS, Epic Games promised the Android version will come in time. According to the developer’s latest post, the new mobile version is slated for release during Summer 2018, with more news to come. You can read the quote below, which was taken directly from the official website.

“Fortnite is coming to Android!

“We are targeting this summer for the release. We know many of you are excited for this release, and we promise that when we have more information to share, you’ll hear it from us first.”

In addition to an Android version update, devs revealed that Fortnite: Battle Royale on mobile now has a customizable HUD. More features will be optimized in the future, such as game performance and stability. Time will bring better graphics, more features (voice chat among them), and a Battery Saver mode. Just like the console versions, which were updated to 60fps, Epic Games will make Fortnite more accessible.
