As the site writes, Bethesda has expanded its resources and manpower in order to meet greater ambitions. With new projects and innovation, the ZeniMax company is always hunting for talent. Thus, BattleCry Studios is now Bethesda Game Studios Austin.

“As the vision, scale and ambitions for our games continue to grow, so does Bethesda Game Studios,” said Todd Howard, Game Director and Executive Producer at Bethesda Game Studios. “We’ve had the pleasure to know the talented developers at BattleCry and knew we could do great things together.”

From here on, Bethesda Game Studios Austin will develop AAA games with the quality expected of the name. That said, gamers everywhere have cause to rejoice since more Bethesda games in the market mean more great adventures. And leading development will be industry veteran and new Studio Director Doug Mellencamp.

“We’re excited to join Bethesda Game Studios and look forward to working together on some of the industry’s most exciting new games,” said Mellencamp. “Austin’s incredible game development scene and talent will also allow us to push our games further than fans have imagined.”

In the name of expansion, Bethesda is currently hiring for Maryland, Montreal, and Austin locations. If you or anyone you know has the chops for AAA development, visit http://jobs.zenimax.com/.
