Monster Hunter World Finally Gets PC Release Window

Devs Need Time to Deliver the Best Monster-hunting Performance

Monster Hunter World is the most anticipated game for January, straight out of Capcom, and it will be arriving for PS4 and Xbox One. But what about PC players? Surely, they deserve their dose of monster-hunting goodness… Which is why Monster Hunter producer Ryozo Tsujimoto shout us with a new update on Twitter.

According to Tsujimoto, Monster Hunter World for the PC is scheduled to arrive sometime in the Fall. This is so that Capcom can take the time they need to optimize the game for PC. That entails all the typical upgrades: guaranteed resolution, performance optimization, and better framerates. And when we’re talking better fps, we’re inclined to give devs all the time they need. But if you just can’t wait to play Monster Hunter World, you will have the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions at your disposal.

Tsujimoto also wanted to take the time to affirm to players that Monster Hunter World will have free post-game updates in the form of more monsters. Nothing else beyond that has been confirmed at this time, but more monsters are always great. We have an entire year of new updates to look forward to, so be sure to check back.
