Leaked Screenshot of Assassin’s Creed Origins May Confirm a Returning Feature

This May Confirm Even More Leaked Info for the next Assassin’s Creed

Update: Eurogamer sources have confirmed that the leaked image is 100% real.

Just yesterday, supposed Ubisoft insiders leaked new info on the next Assassin’s Creed. Among the things we learned was that the game would include naval combat. Now, a new screenshot leak from Reddit gives us new insight. Even though the gameplay image looks authentic, nothing has been officially confirmed.

Assassin's Creed Origins

If this leaked screenshot is the real deal (and it looks like it), then it may confirm all the other details leaked by insiders. For starters, that the game will be more open-world as well as include two playable characters. Read more on the report here.

So far, Assassin’s Creed Origins seems like it will include the best features of the franchise. Chances are these won’t include mechanics that involve gun powder like the last two games. The game is going the farthest it’s ever gone in history and, according to reports, will run on a ‘revamped version of the Anvil Engine.’

Whatever the case, expect final confirmation at this year’s E3. We anticipate a huge reveal alongside a ton of other big names. Assassin’s Creed Origins is scheduled for release later this year.

While we wait, let us know your thoughts on the leaked screenshot. Do you believe it’s authentic? Comment down below, and tell us your anticipation level for Assassin’s Creed Origins.

Happy gaming.
