Fire Emblem Heroes Players Earn Huge Rewards for Helping Tweet Go Viral

Fire Emblem Heroes Players Get Rewarded for Simple RT

Developed by Intelligent Systems and Nintendo for iOS and Android devices, Fire Emblem Heroes has been a huge hit so far. This free-to-play tactical role-playing game is a mobile spin-off of the Fire Emblem series, and was released worldwide on February 2, 2017. Yesterday, they held their first Twitter promo campaign and needless to say it was a huge success.

In its first Twitter event since the games release last Thursday, Fire Emblem Heroes threw down a challenge for Nintendo followers to retweet a simple post.

If players could retweet the message (seen below) 10,000 times worldwide, Nintendo would reward them with 10,000 Hero Feathers. With that reward in mind, the player community retweeted the post more than three times over within a twelve hour span.

For those who haven’t been playing the game, Hero Feathers are items in Fire Emblem Heroes that allow characters to evolve into versions with higher stats. In order to transform from a three star character into a four star character, the game requires 2,000 Hero Feathers. Going from four stars to five stars requires 20,000. Regardless of utterly destroying the goal of 10,000 retweets, the reward will remain at 10,000 Hero Feathers. Nintendo has said that the reward will issue to all players later this week.

The 10,000 Hero Feather reward should go a little ways toward keeping people playing the new mobile game. It seems as though developer Intelligent Systems already has some plans for those who stick with it.
