Beta Registration for the 4.5 Update Runs Until Early February
Beta signups are now live for the PS4 System’s 4.5 Update, according to a report from Dualshockers.
The registration for the beta will run from now until early February. Once it officially starts, signups will be shut down, so get in there while the getting’s good.
North American users can sign up for said 4.5 update beta here. Users in Europe can go here for the beta signup.
There are no details yet regarding the contents of this update. Sony says they’ll have said details “soon,” hopefully before the beta itself goes live.
As with previous update betas, you’ll get an email with detailed instructions on how to set up the update. You’ll need an account ID, an internet connection and to be 18 years or older. The software can be rolled back to the previous version at any time.
