Plarium offers online strategy games that are a ton of fun to play and pretty much addicting as all hell. They are no download, browser based games and support communities numbering in the millions (over 100 million in fact) of players. Nords: Heroes of the North
Nords: Heroes of the North mixes the world of humans with the magic of Orcs and Elves as you face off against a villainous Ice Queen and her army of undead.They have brought an eternal winter upon the Nordic kingdom of Shingard. Only by combining the craft of Men, the strength of Orcs, and the magic of the Elves can the power of the Obelisks be harnessed to fend her off. As one of King Bjorn’s Lord Marshals, you’ll have to keep these three factions from fighting amongst themselves in your Stronghold. Train them for war and send them to battle against the Cold Legions, or your fiercest rivals!
Forge alliances with other players, fortify your Stronghold, collect Resources, and sign Blood Pacts to make sure your army comes out on top, and try to stop the zombies from turning your homeland into a giant walk-in meat freezer.
Sparta: War of Empires
Are Roman Gladiators and ancient Greece more your jam? If so then Sparta: War of Empires could be your next favorite game! Set in the 5th century BC, the ancient world of Greece is in turmoil, under threat from Xerxes and his giant Persian Empire, whole cities are crumbling under the weight of his army.
