Michael Chow (Contributor) Â –Â Gears of War
My favorite of the Gears of War franchise is easily this first title. From the gritty campaign to the addicting multiplayer, Gears of War was a thrill to play. Though future games of the series likely had better multiplayer gameplay, I never had more fun in this series than in the first iteration of GoW.
Anthony Bacchus (Contributor) –Â Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
I love showing people Uncharted 2, especially those that don’t play games as much as I do. They’re always stunned at the breathtaking visuals and are genuinely engaged in the story and characters that Naughty Dog have so graciously created. It arguably has the most memorable set pieces and best action moments in the series. More so than that, it’s one of the rare instances in which I bought a console just to play a single game.

No other game had my entire friends list playing at the same time. Modern Warfare 2’s evolution on its predecessor’s already excellent multiplayer is a feat I fear will never again be replicated. You just had to be there to know what I’m talking about. Although I never managed to get a nuke…
