3. Works for Many Kinds of Activities
Work or play, office or “man cave,” the Respawn-300’s label as a gaming chair is misleading because—as I implied through its workout potential—it facilitates any kind of sitting activity. And I don’t mean to make this sound like a state-of-the-art gimmick; it’s simple, whatever you do while sitting, you can adjust the chair to suit the activity in question. Moreover, you’ll be comfortable for the duration of that activity. In my specific case, it’s great for working at a desktop or sitting and watching a television mounted on the wall, above eye level. That’s worth noting: if you have a wall-mounted TV above eye level, you can’t go wrong with Respawn. Furthermore, you can roll the chair to any position inside (or outside) the house, and it will fit in just fine. Roll it into the living room, into the kitchen, into the dining table, or your ‘home gym.’ You can eat while seated or rest your laptop on your lap, though I don’t recommend both at the same time.
2. A Variety of Ways to Sit (Or Sleep) on It
Don’t let the racing style fool you. The chair looks like it’s ready to cradle your body in the case of an adrenaline rush, but if you’re sitting still, it only fuels your desire to sleep. Fight or flight tendencies don’t make a difference. Fight: if you’re gaming competitively, you ‘ll sit up and pour more focus into the experience; the adjustable depth helps out in that case. Flight: if you want to fly away (sit back and play), that’s what the recline feature is for – It’s so you can play the game to unwind. Alternatively, it’s comfortable enough to sleep on, especially if you utilize the pillow I mentioned earlier. The chair functions at your leisure: adjustable backrest, armrest, recline, pillow, and wheels allow comfort for variable sitting positions. Me, I’m not used to the 4-D movement, so I still have to remind myself that the armrests can slide upward and forward. To go really wild, you can make one armrest higher than the other to perform a very pronounced thinking pose.
1. Magnificent Ergonomic Mesh Lets Your Back Breath
It’s impossible to say this without sounding like a total slob, but I stay seated for long intervals of time. Sitting on a chair of mesh, for the first time, takes some getting used to. That’s because the comfort level is high, more so thanks to back breathability. Typically, heat builds up on the skin when seated against upholstery, which many high-end chairs use. The plus side of the mesh design is that air circulation keeps your back and butt from feeling like they’re in an oven inside of one hour. That’s why temperature isn’t a factor when trying to sit comfortably; the Respawn-300 practically negates the typical heat build-up. Of course, that itself can be a drawback if you ever want to leave your chair. Other chairs are more expensive but don’t offer this design, which is why I consider this one a cut above.
