Valve has begun shipping developer editions of its Vive VR to AAA game developers, indie teams, and a few movie studios.
The kits include a headset, two wireless Steam VR controllers, and two Lighthouse base stations, according to Steam.
Shipments of additional Vive Developer Editions are planned throughout the upcoming season, while the consumer version is expected at the end of the year.
Unlike consumer editions, Developer kits are being provided to developers for free – lucky punks!
