“Welcome back commander”. 2K and Firaxis Games announced yesterday that 2012’s most addicting and sleep depriving title is getting a sequel in XCOM 2. According to IGN,the game will be coming out in November, and will be available on PC, Mac and Linux.
The trailer shows a future where the aliens are in control of the Earth, and XCOM has gone underground to fight to overthrow their Advent government. It seems you will be fighting with guerrilla tactics against technologically superior and genetically enhanced enemies.
Thankfully, after a mission accomplished, you can kick back and relax like a boss in your snazzy Helicarrier base. IGN also teased at Firaxis supporting modding. So get ready to put your thinking caps on and tell the Misses you wont be coming to bed…for a while. Ooh Rah!!!
