Epic Games has licensed Unreal Engine 4 to NEXON Korea Corporation through a long-term deal that grants the leading game publisher and developer to utilize Epic’s latest technology and tools for upcoming PC and mobile projects. Nexon secured its most recent Unreal Engine license through Epic Games Korea.
“Unreal Engine 4 is the ultimate game engine in terms of high performance and flexibility,” said Sangwon Chung, vice president of NEXON Korea Corporation. “We couldn’t be happier to develop numerous projects on Unreal Engine 4 using our years of development expertise. We can’t wait for players to get their hands on the fantastic experiences we are creating right now.”
This news comes on the heels of Boss Key Productions announcing that Unreal Engine 4 will power their new game, Project Bluestreak, which is published by Nexon America. That license is covered under a separate agreement through Epic Games in the US. Additional details around Nexon’s upcoming Unreal Engine 4 projects have yet to be announced.
So, what do you think, or hope, that NEXON does with the Unreal engine.
