ESL presents eSports Fantasy Leagues for StarCraft II

ESL Gaming Network has announced that a new platform, ESL Fantasy: the StarCraft II Fantasy League. Joining League of Legends, with more games on the way, StarCraft II fans will now be able to draft teams of five consisting of their season’s favourite players.

ESL Fantasy currently has one global league in which all of StarCraft II eSports fans can compete. There are no currency restrictions, so users are free to select whichever players they like: two from each of the three World Championship Series regions (America, Europe and the GSL Code S). Drafting will be locked during each active stage (RO16, Quarterfinals, Semifinals and Finals) only to be unlocked once play has ceased. Users will be awarded Fantasy Points for the players they have selected, based on how well each has performed both in game and in their respective groups.
