Priced at $39.99, the game arrives with a 25% introductory discount for its first two weeks, allowing players to pick it up for $29.99. The game also supports every language available through Steam, while regional pricing follows Steam’s standard guidelines.
At launch, Subway Builder features more than 30 playable cities across the United States and the United Kingdom. Players can create and optimize transit systems using authentic demographic, geographic, and transportation data, with Los Angeles joining the lineup as a newly added map.

According to Fox, Subway Builder demonstrates what is and isn’t possible in public transit planning while encouraging discussions about the future of transportation worldwide.
Meanwhile, co-developer Alex Wohlbruck shared a more personal message, saying he moved to New York City to help create the game and hopes players enjoy the experience.
Outside of Steam, the game is also available through its official website, and the game’s community has already grown to more than 10,000 transit enthusiasts on Discord.
