Bob Is Joining the Roster in TEKKEN 8
Bandai Namco Entertainment used the EVO 2026 stage in Las Vegas to reveal the next fighter joining TEKKEN 8 in Season 3 roster. Fan favorite Bob is officially making his return, bringing back his signature mix of speed, power, and unpredictable martial arts. The announcement came during the tournament finals, where Arslan Ash once again secured the EVO championship title.
Bob’s latest story picks up after surviving Bryan’s brutal attack before The King of Iron Fist Tournament 7. During his recovery, his frustration with bland hospital meals inspired him to create his own burger recipes. What began as a simple idea eventually grew into a successful fast food business, followed by the launch of “Bob’s Onigiri.”
His journey takes a serious turn after learning about Kazuya Mishima’s plans for world domination. Using his restaurant chains to help people during times of crisis, Bob earns the nickname “Onigiri Saviour.” Driven by his strong sense of justice, he steps back into the fight to stop Kazuya.
Season Pass 3 owners will get early access to Bob on August 20, while all players can purchase him separately starting August 25. He joins Kunimitsu, with Roger Jr. and Yujiro Hanma still set to arrive later as part of the same season pass.
Bandai Namco also announced the upcoming TEKKEN! CARTOON series, premiering on July 10, 2026. The short animated series will feature popular characters including Paul, Yoshimitsu, Kazuya, Alisa, and Kuma in a colorful cartoon style, with each episode running for less than a minute.
With Bob’s return and a brand-new animated series on the horizon, TEKKEN fans have plenty to be excited about this year.
