Enjoy 30% off on The End of History

The End of History is celebrating six months in Early Access with its biggest update yet, alongside a 30% discount during the Steam Summer Sale, running from June 25 to July 9, 2026 (PT).

Developed by solo creator Hiroshi Sakakibara under the Tatamibeya label, the medieval sandbox strategy RPG has continued to evolve through regular community-driven updates since its Early Access launch in December 2025. The game focuses on emergent storytelling, where NPCs have their own goals and every player’s decision shapes the world around them.

The End of History

Over the past six months, the game has received major improvements, including a redesigned relationship system with a family tree interface, expanded tavern conversations, and new affinity mechanics that make character interactions easier to follow. Combat has also become more tactical with pincer attacks, new combat techniques, improved formation controls, and artillery prediction.

The latest update adds a History Timeline that lets players revisit key world events, along with a revamped notification system and adjustable text size. Numerous stability fixes and quality-of-life improvements have also been introduced.

The game has now surpassed 85,000 Steam wishlists and sold over 15,000 copies. There is also a free demo on Steam, which allows players to transfer their progress to the full game.

With regular updates and strong community support, The End of History continues to grow into an increasingly compelling strategy RPG worth keeping an eye on.
