JDM Multiplayer Set to Launch on June 11, New DLC Arrives Later This Month

Get Ready to Drift Together in JDM

The long-awaited multiplayer mode for JDM is finally ready to roll out, following a series of successful tests on Steam. Developers have confirmed that the feature will officially launch on June 11, marking a major milestone for the game’s growing community.

The initial release will be available exclusively on PC via Steam, with updates on GoG and the Epic Games Store expected in the weeks that follow. Console players will need to wait a bit longer, as the feature is currently scheduled for a Q3 2026 release.

At launch, players can jump into an open-world sandbox designed for social driving experiences. The mode allows users to host car meets, cruise together, and explore the world in shared lobbies of up to eight players. Both private and public rooms will be supported, giving players flexibility in how they connect.

Developers are also working on several quality-of-life improvements based on community feedback. These include map location marking, command-based text chat, access to tuning and paint shops during multiplayer sessions, and a customizable ghost mode that disables collisions for smoother group drifting. Integrated voice chat and color-coded player markers aim to make coordination more seamless.

Beyond multiplayer, JDM is also expanding its content lineup. The upcoming American Classics DLC launches on June 25, introducing six new non-licensed American cars for $5.99. Alongside this, free new JDM cars will be added for all players.

With additional game modes, a new side story campaign, and more surprises on the horizon, JDM continues to build momentum. The upcoming updates suggest a strong future for both solo and multiplayer fans alike.
