A Fairy Tail-Inspired Story Awaits in Infinity Nikki
Infold Games has released a new major update for Infinity Nikki, titled The Forest Need Not Listen. This Version 2.4 marks a significant shift for the game, introducing its first time-loop narrative alongside a darker, fairy tale-inspired storyline, while also expanding combat and open-world systems.
At the heart of the update is a haunting new chapter set in the Misty Forest. Nikki and Momo find themselves trapped in a mysterious loop where a tragic funeral keeps repeating. As the story unfolds, players encounter unsettling reimaginings of classic characters, including Mad Red Riding Hood and the Big Dark Wolf. Each loop reveals new clues, slowly uncovering the truth behind the forest’s curse and deepening the game’s narrative tone.
Version 2.4 also introduces a more dynamic combat experience. Players will face a powerful new boss known as the Scavenger, featured in a multi-phase battle with shifting arenas and intense close-range encounters. Momo now takes on a more active combat role, joining Nikki as a companion who can switch between different fighting styles depending on equipped cloaks, with abilities that grow over time.
A new 5-Star Resonance Outfit, She Is Wildfire, adds both style and functionality, granting Nikki the ability to summon the Moon-Hunting Wolf as a battle companion and mount for exploration.
Beyond combat, the update expands gameplay through a new construction and management system in Itzaland. Players can build and customize businesses, manage resources, and recruit NPCs to assist with operations, adding another layer of progression.
With these additions, Version 2.4 delivers a deeper, more immersive experience that pushes Infinity Nikki in an exciting new direction.
