Save the World in Crêpe Master!
Indie French developer Hallucinations Studio has officially revealed the release date for its upcoming VR title Crêpe Master! during the VR Games Showcase. The colourful magical girl brawler will launch on Meta Quest 3 and Meta Quest 3S on May 7, with wishlisting now live via the Meta Horizon Store.
Crêpe Master! introduces players to Hana, a magical girl who channels the reincarnated spirit of the Crêpe Goddess. Armed with her unique weapon, the Sacred Pan, she must stand against an alien invasion threatening both Earth and its most beloved dessert. The premise blends quirky humour with fast-paced action, offering a VR beat ‘em up experience that leans heavily into style and creativity.
The gameplay focuses on gesture-based controls, allowing players to strike signature poses to cast spells and unleash powerful abilities. Combat is complemented by a cooking mechanic, where players prepare crêpes in rapid-fire mini-games to boost their magical strength. This mix of action and lighthearted cooking adds a distinct twist to the genre.
Designed as a single-player adventure, the game features vibrant visuals and a playful tone. Along the way, players will smash enemies, reclaim stolen ingredients, and protect the world unconventionally. With its unusual concept and energetic presentation, Crêpe Master! is shaping up to be one of the more unique VR releases arriving this May.
