Join the Action in Astro Busters
Indie developer Michael Prymus has announced the Early Access mobile launch of Astro Busters, now available on both iOS and Android. Inspired by arcade classics such as Asteroids, Gravity Force, and X-Pilot, Astro Busters brings fast-paced, physics-driven space combat to mobile devices as a free-to-download experience. Originally released on PC via Steam, the mobile version delivers the same high-energy action. It features responsive touch controls, realistic momentum-based movement, and a modern take on a classic formula.
In the game, players dive into deep space to complete missions, battle aggressive enemies, and upgrade their ships. The Early Access mobile release includes three handcrafted single-player levels alongside three multiplayer modes designed for competitive and cooperative play. Two playable ships and seven distinct weapons give players multiple ways to approach combat, each offering its own style.
Astro Busters fully supports cross-platform multiplayer, allowing mobile players to team up with or face off against PC users. Multiplayer modes include Deathmatch, Co-Op Survival, and Co-Op Waves, encouraging teamwork and tactical decision-making. Warp abilities let players escape danger in critical moments, while massive enemy ships can be entered during missions to add variety and challenge.
Collecting coins plays a central role in progression, as players invest their earnings into a wide range of upgrades. Easy to learn yet hard to master, Astro Busters caters to players of all ages and skill levels. The full version, planned for release next year, will expand the experience with additional levels, more weapons, smarter enemy AI, achievements, in-game chat, and a fully dynamic random level generator with a Capture the Flag multiplayer mode.
