Soar Through the Sky in Foxhole
Foxhole marks its 10th anniversary by expanding its persistent online war into the skies with the launch of the Airborne update on February 9. This free update introduces full-scale air warfare and seamlessly integrates it with the game’s established land and naval combat, creating Foxhole’s most ambitious battlefield yet.
Airborne allows players to build, operate, and maintain entire air forces. Squadrons of recon planes, fighters, bombers, and other specialized aircraft take to the air for dogfights, bombing runs, and supply-line disruption. Every role matters as pilots fly missions, gunners defend aircraft, and ground crews produce, arm, refuel, and repair planes using player-built facilities. This includes factories, hangars, and airfields. As with all of Foxhole, the war effort depends entirely on coordinated player action.
The update also introduces paratroopers, giving squads the ability to deploy behind enemy lines. These airborne assaults enable surprise attacks on logistics hubs, infrastructure, and key defensive positions. Hence, adding new tactical depth to frontline and backline warfare alike.
Naval gameplay receives a major refresh alongside the arrival of aircraft carriers. These massive vessels allow aircraft to launch from offshore locations, opening up new strategic possibilities at sea. Expanded maritime zones and new multi-region islands further enhance the scale of naval and aerial operations, supporting prolonged and complex conflicts across the world map.
To celebrate a decade of Foxhole and more than 62 free updates, the Foxhole Supporters Edition is now available. It includes a digital artbook, original soundtrack, exclusive wallpapers, in-game themes, and a supporter badge. It will offer fans a way to commemorate the game’s milestone release.
