Welcome to the Myth of a Godslayer
Team EZ has released its top-down action RPG, The Myth of a Godslayer, now available on Steam for PC. The game is available for 19.99 USD with regional adjustments, with a two-week launch discount of 20%. A free demo is included, offering the prologue and the first chapter. The progress of the demo also transfers to the full game, so make sure to check it out.
The Myth of a Godslayer follows Klain’s journey across a vivid new realm shaped by combat challenges, exploration, puzzle-focused areas, and platforming. Each step leads deeper into old dungeons, strange landscapes, hidden corners, and battles that reward timing and observation. The adventure steadily draws Klain toward a greater destiny as he moves along the path of becoming a Godslayer.
The combat system blends directional inputs with action buttons to create a wide range of special attacks. Players can find and equip artifacts inspired by classic adventure items, each designed to expose the weaknesses of different enemies. Exploration unfolds across a large world map supported by a random event system that keeps travel lively and rewarding. Many dungeons, secrets, and optional paths are waiting for you to uncover.
The full experience offers more than thirty hours of content, including side quests, optional dungeons, and additional challenges for those who enjoy exploring every corner. The engine uses 2D art combined with a fully 3D collision system, adding verticality and layering to both movement and puzzle sequences. Controls are fully customizable to fit different play styles, and four difficulty modes allow players to shape the journey according to their preferred pace and comfort.
