Sick Samurai Officially Announced for PC

Slash Your Enemies in Sick Samurai

Solideo is delighted to announce its latest title, Sick Samurai, coming out on PC via Steam in Q4 2025. This game brings lightning-fast action and intense, one-hit combat inspired by the thrill of Hotline Miami. Its style is a love letter to classics like Samurai Champloo and Cowboy Bebop, blending a retro anime vibe with hand-drawn art. Moreover, the original Lofi soundtrack weaves in hip-hop, jazz, soul, funk, and more, setting the perfect mood for every intense moment.

In Sick Samurai, players enter the vibrant island of Furikyu, a place that merges the traditions of Edo-period Japan with the gritty energy of 20th-century urban America. Here, you take on the role of a young man who dreams of becoming Furikyu’s greatest fighter. To make his dream a reality, he seeks out Genyu, a legendary ex-samurai known across the island. Genyu agrees to train him, and together they embark on an unforgettable journey, facing the four powerful samurai who rule the island and testing their skills at every turn.

The game offers carefully designed levels, each with multiple paths and strategies to discover. Players can choose upgrades and items as they progress, making each journey feel unique. When players fall in battle, they can restart levels instantly, allowing them to dive right back into the action. Mastering the game’s combat takes practice. Its rapid dash and slash attack style demands speed, precision, and solid reflexes. Every encounter tests planning and quick reactions, making each step forward feel like a real accomplishment.
