In Ninja or Die: Shadow of the Sun, celestial doom awaits the fate of humanity. In Edo, Japan, the mother of the protagonist has foreseen this great cataclysm. You are just a common pickpocket, transformed into a dangerous ninja due to this impending apocalypse. Even the Ramen Seller became a Samurai and the Maiko became a killer Geisha.
The place where you engaged in petty crimes has turned into a frenzied neon world. It is full of shogun castles, magic traps, and parachuting assassins. Amidst all this chaos, someone has ensnared you into a loop.
The game features violent precision platforming fused with extreme speed. The exciting part is that only one button controls all the movements and attacks as well. There are different playable characters that you can unlock with tons of weapons and armor. You can even use special abilities and scrolls to bring earthquake, lightning, and enhanced sight.
You will also build up your village base by rescuing villagers and repairing and upgrading useful buildings. This includes the Blacksmith, Back-alley Doctor, and more.
