*Jazz Music Stops*
Rainbow Six Siege has introduced a brand new limited-time event that is going to be available from today until May 19th. Taking inspiration from British gangsters in the 1920s, a new game mode along with skins for both characters and weapons have been introduced.
Called Stolen Goods, this new mode is going to have the attackers and defenders fighting over stacks of cash rather than a biochemical bomb or hostage. Taking place in a reworked Hereford map to suit the time period, a new approach to destructible environments has been added to create even more chaos than before. Players can now totally destroy floors in order to get the literal drop on the opposing team. This possibilities that this creates is essentially endless. You could shoot massive murder holes, create your own escape hatches, or just troll your teammates.
Stolen Goods also differs from a regular game a Siege due to the weapon loadouts. Every player is forced to use a shotgun. To add to the mayhem, there is no setup phase either, players will just spawn in and the action kicks off from there. Ubisoft is going for high paced, high-intensity gameplay.
Of course, when any special event this takes place, there are bound to be a ton of new outfits for the operators involved. Ten operators are going to have access to various skins that will make them look more the part of a 1920s gangster flick. Any fans of shows like Peaky Blinders are going to lose their minds over this. Keep in mind that this new gamemode is only temporary and will be no longer be present at the end of the month. Might as well give it a shot while you have the chance.
Rainbow Six Siege is available for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
