A Helpful Prey Glitch Has Been Found Already
As you may know, Prey was released earlier today and if you’re playing it right now, you probably have a very limited amount of time to take advantage of the new glitch that was discovered by Polygon which allows you to have an endless supply of materials by way of crafting!
After playing Prey for about an hour, you will be able to access Morgan Yu’s office, where you’ll find a recycling machine. This recycling machine can recycle items and materials, and it is inevitably where this glitch takes place. According to the video by YouTuber Eggcellent you can keep splitting your already recycled items to slowly accumulate a limitless supply of materials for the rest of the game. Check out the video that explains it all below.
As shown in the video above, all you really have to do is take some materials that have already been recycled, and stick them into the machine. You will want to split these materials into four separate groups and once you’ve done this, you can hit the recycle button. All of the materials you put in the machine should come back with double the amount!
This neat little glitch will allow you to craft as much ammunition and med packs as you can hold, and while it’s not completely mind blowing, it does change the game entirely at this point. If you’re going to take advantage of this glitch, you better do it quickly, as Bethesda has probably already heard about it and working on a patch. It could be fixed in a matter of hours!
