Drive UP: Together Climbs Its Way to Steam Early Access

Conquer the Mountain in Drive Up: Together

Gamevato has officially launched Drive UP: Together in Steam Early Access, giving players a chance to put their driving skills and friendships to the test. This online co-op climbing game supports up to eight players, but reaching the summit is easier said than done. Between tricky obstacles, realistic driving physics, and plenty of opportunities to sabotage your friends, every climb can quickly turn into chaos.

Players must navigate a massive mountain packed with narrow wooden planks, giant pipes, near-vertical ramps, tilting platforms, and swinging obstacles. One wrong move can send an entire vehicle tumbling down, wiping out hard-earned progress. So, getting to the top requires more than just keeping your foot on the accelerator.

Drive UP: Together puts a strong emphasis on realistic driving physics, with weight distribution, suspension, throttle control, and momentum all affecting how vehicles handle. Players must find the right balance between speed and control, as too little momentum can send them sliding backward, while too much can launch them straight past their target.

Things get even more interesting when other players join the climb. Every vehicle acts as a solid object, meaning players can build makeshift bridges, push teammates across difficult gaps, and rescue overturned cars. However, the same mechanics also make it possible to sabotage a friend’s progress just before they reach safety.

The Early Access version features the complete mountain, solo play, and online multiplayer for up to eight players. Gamevato also plans to use community feedback from Discord and Steam forums to improve the experience through future updates. Players can additionally customize their cars, unlock Steam achievements, compete on leaderboards, and enjoy support for 30 languages.
