The Vessel Puts a Mind-Bending Twist on Puzzle Games

Every Decision Matters in The Vessel

Puzzle games are all about making you think, but The Vessel is taking that idea a step further. Solo developer Fist Pump Games has revealed its upcoming puzzle adventure, challenging players to control two characters simultaneously and get both of them safely through each room.

That sounds simple enough, until the puzzles start getting complicated. Players will need to carefully coordinate every movement, position both characters correctly, and work around a growing number of obstacles to reach each exit. One wrong move could ruin the solution, making timing and strategy just as important as figuring out the puzzle itself.

The Vessel features 150 levels, with each one throwing new mechanics into the mix. Players will encounter blocks with different properties, timed doors, teleporters, and other interactive elements that will force them to constantly rethink their approach.

But there’s more going on beneath the puzzles. The game also tells a fantasy sci-fi story focused on identity and the nature of the self, with players gradually uncovering who the two characters are and where they came from. Fully voiced dialogue and multiple endings will give players plenty of reasons to return and see how different choices shape the outcome.

The Vessel certainly has an unusual hook, and its two-character gameplay could make for some seriously satisfying, and occasionally frustrating, puzzle-solving. If you enjoy games that make your brain work overtime, this one might be worth watching.
