Cause Endless Mayhem in WreckZone
Get ready to hit the gas and start blowing things up. Independent publisher Lyra V has teamed up with developer MadRider to bring WreckZone to its publishing lineup, putting the upcoming vehicular combat game on the radar for fans of explosive arcade-style action.
WreckZone throws players into brutal battles where staying alive means more than simply having a powerful weapon. Players will take control of a selection of combat-ready vehicles and fight across dangerous arenas packed with hazards, obstacles, and plenty of room for mayhem.

The vehicles aren’t just cosmetic choices, either. Each one comes with its own strengths, weapons, and handling style. Speed-focused machines can dart around the battlefield and escape incoming attacks, while heavier vehicles can absorb punishment and turn themselves into rolling tanks.
The arenas are where things can get particularly chaotic. Players can launch themselves off ramps, weave through obstacles, take advantage of environmental traps, and use destructible objects to create openings against their rivals. A well-timed stunt could give you the perfect angle for an attack, or send you straight into trouble.
Of course, there’s plenty of firepower to play with. Machine guns, rockets, mines, and special abilities give players several ways to turn an opponent’s ride into scrap metal.
WreckZone is currently in development and will launch on Steam. With its combination of arcade driving, destructive combat, and stunt-heavy arenas, it could be an interesting modern take on the vehicular battle games many players grew up with.
If MadRider can nail the chaotic fun, WreckZone could be one to watch for fans of old-school vehicular combat.
