Sunken Realms Reveals Launch Price Ahead of Its Release Next Week

It’s Almost Time to Step Inside the Sunken Realms

Magic Puncher Games is getting ready to launch Sunken Realms, its long-in-development ARPG dungeon crawler, on Steam next week. The game will officially release on September 18 for $16.99 / £13.99 / €16.99, with players also getting a 10% launch discount during the first two weeks.

However, those who want to try the game before buying it should act quickly. The free demo will remain available until September 21, giving players a final chance to explore its dark fantasy world without spending anything. The game has already attracted more than 30,000 wishlists ahead of release.

Created by solo developer Brad Warren, Sunken Realms draws inspiration from games such as Outward, Hades, and The Legend of Zelda. Warren says Outward especially influenced his desire to capture a strong sense of adventure and discovery, although the project has developed its own identity during its six-year development.

The game follows Alric, an adventurer searching for answers about his missing father. His journey takes him into Aedaria, a once-great underground city that fell into darkness after a curse from the gods.

Players will explore its shifting dungeons, fight enemies, collect loot, and attempt to survive each expedition. Back at camp, they can craft equipment, brew potions, prepare food, and improve their abilities before returning underground at higher difficulty levels.

With launch just around the corner, Sunken Realms looks ready to put its long development journey to the test.
